Rock'n Dip

1 pkg cream cheese
1/2 can artichoke hearts (unmarinated)
3 cloves garlic
1/2 small white onion
1 tsp basil
grated parmesan cheese (up to 1 cup, but use according to taste)
black pepper to taste
little bit of lemon juice (use your own best judgement -- but don't use too much)

Cream items together in food processor. Makes excellent dip. Good cold or warm. Amazing sandwich spread with prosciutto and green leaf lettuce and thinly sliced cantaloupe. This is pretty inexact, because people's tastes vary. I leave out the basil sometimes, use the whole can of artichoke hearts sometimes, whatever.

Parmesan and cream cheese go so well together you wouldn't believe it.
