Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 Cup Butter, softened
1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
2 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Cups Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
In large bowl, beat butter, shortening, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar and eggs on medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
Stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until well blended.
Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
Make about 6 dozen.
