Almond Biscotti

2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 Cup chopped almonds
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp milk
1/4 tsp salt

In a bowl, cream 1 cup sugar and butter. Beat eggs, stir in vanilla and add to mixture.
Mix dry ingredients together then add to the creamed mixture along with the almonds.
Line a baking sheet with foil and grease foil.
Divide dough in half, spread both on foil then smear with milk and dot with remaining sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees f for half an hour.
Remove from oven, place on wire rack and let cool for 15 minutes.
Cut the dough diagonally into slices. Place cut slices on un-greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
