Crock Pot Black-Eyed Pea Chili
1 (16 oz) pkg Dried Black-Eyed Peas
1 lb Breakfast Sausage (Jimmy Dean, Owens, or Store Brand)
1 lb Hamburger
1 Onion, diced
1 Can Ro-Tel Tomatoes (Tomatoes and Green Chilies)
5 C Water
4 Stalks Celery, Chopped Fine
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp Garlic Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
Sort and wash peas; drain excess water and add to crock pot.
Brown sausage and hamburger. Add onion and cook until clear, then drain well.
Add meat mixture and all remaining ingredients to crock pot.
Cook time is approximately 6 to 8 hours.
